Meet CHRISTINE
I come from a family of (informal) genealogists and historians . . . people who have spent many hours researching and putting together the pieces of our family's history. Perhaps love for documenting the family story is genetic. I spent much of my childhood poring through boxes of photos asking, "Who's that?" and piecing together my very own scrapbooks. The visual storytelling that unfolds through photography is my calling.
To hold a piece of your family's story in your hands or to look at it on the wall . . . that is a gift. One that I want to help give you. Let me help you tell your story, one that will be told and remembered for generations to come.

Your history is worth preserving . . .
I believe that history is worth preserving. Technology is changing so fast that sometimes it's difficult to keep up. My wedding was shot on film, and the video on VHS cassette . . . and that was only 19 years ago. Now we have JPG and MP4 digital files tucked away on a hard drive or a USB, one of many shoved into a drawer.
Do you know where all your precious memories are stored? Do you know how to access them quickly to view and enjoy (and your Instagram feed does not count!)? I'm going to bet that the answer is NO. Despite my trade, I'm just like you . . . I've lost a phone that had months-worth of irreplaceable photos. I've found stacks of unlabeled photo CDs in a drawer, with no way to know what they held but to fire up an old laptop that still had a functioning drive. The sheer volume of digital images that we possess these days is staggering! And let's be really honest here - what do you actually DO with them? Selecting favorite shots and specific products can be overwhelming, and often creating these things (ahem, crafting an entire album) can be tedious and time-consuming.
But I also know this: my children often flip through our gorgeous silk wedding album and the baby scrapbooks I lovingly made for them, fingers skimming the pages. There are huge canvases of my daughters hanging in the hallway for everyone to see. There is a box on the coffee table full of loose prints that I often flip through when I'm feeling like my girls are growing too fast or when I miss family members who are no longer with us. My family exists in print. And generations from now, my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be able to see our faces, know what we looked like, what we wore, where we went, how we lived. What a treasure to hold in my hands . . . Without a doubt, I would run back into my burning house for these irreplaceable things.
Let me help you create a treasure of your own, to share with your family and pass down for generations. Together, we will plan a customized session, sort through all the photographs, decide what kind of display best suits your lifestyle . . . and then leave all the hard work to me. I'll create a gorgeous piece of artwork for you to cherish forever.
