365 Project Week 4: Photography 101 {Sullivan’s Island, SC Family Photography}

This was one busy week, as we ended our brief Florida vacation and I prepared for my teaching debut!  This week I hosted a group of 8 fabulous women for my Snap Happy: Photography 101 course to help them get happier with their family snapshots.  I firmly believe that we should document our family moments, and it was my goal to help these women become just a bit more thoughtful about the photo-taking process.  I had so much fun sharing what I love with these women, and I can’t wait to teach another one this Spring!

We also prepped for the girls’ upcoming Valentine’s Day card exchange at school . . . I really love to dabble in graphic design and try to come up with some cute card designs for them to share with their friends.  They love to come up with ideas for their own cards, and I am so grateful to be raising such creative kiddos!  They are always bugging me to get on Pinterest for crafty inspiration.

My hubby isn’t usually as game as the girls to have his picture taken for my project, and he’s definitely not one to pose for the camera.  But this week, I HAD to ensure that I documented this tidbit of him in the kitchen making waffles from scratch.  They were delicious!
