Tomorrow morning is Back to School 2013! Who’s planning to take their child’s picture on the very first day of school?
I am not a morning person. Neither is my oldest daughter. However, as a photographer mama, there is no skipping the required first-day-of school picture for posterity. Over the years I have learned that my children don’t always love having their pictures taken . . . especially before sunrise. So last year I had the brilliant idea to do our back-to-school photos the night before. A dry run, if you will. Outfits and accessories were all carefully selected in plenty of time for the big day. Not to mention that the lighting is much better!
