Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina Family Photographer

It is always an honor for me to receive an invitation to photograph a family in their own home.  Most of the time it’s where they feel the most comfortable. They aren’t stressed out rushing around to a location, and they let their guards down.  I truly get an idea for everyone’s personalities (teenage brother who’d rather be on his iPad – check, little girls doing cartwheels all over the yard with limbs full of Rainbow Loom bracelets – check, mom and dad enjoying a little happy hour on the porch while kids have their turn in front of the lens – check). This family was particularly fun because they had some backyard shenanigans up their sleeves – the grand finale plan was to take a plunge into their newly-finished swimming pool!  Stay tuned for the full post to see if they actually got their feet wet . . .
