There are so many amazing aspects about shooting on the beach: the sunsets, the surf, the breeze.  The beach is always changing, and the sea offers up so many surprises.  At this evening’s sunset session, I was delighted to come across this beautiful piece of beach driftwood.  Often we get little bits and chunks of driftwood, but this substantial piece was the perfect bench for darling Sophia.  It was weathered smooth with just the right amount of character.  I’m fairly sure that it will be gone sometime soon, as with everything on the beach, but I’m so glad we found this treasure for our mother-daughter session.
