First Holy Communion {Event Photography & Children's Portraiture | Sullivan's Island, South Carolina}

The big day finally arrived – after years of Sunday school classes and diligent preparation, our firstborn daughter made her First Holy Communion this past Saturday at Stella Maris Church. It always falls on Mother’s Day weekend, and so we were able to combine the two events into one big weekend celebration! Grandparents (and ONE great-grandparent), aunts, uncles, godparents, and friends traveled from afar to help us celebrate such a momentous occasion.

If you’ve read any of my posts or know me even just a little, you may have found that I am a Type-A perfectionist (or, as my husband would call it, an utter control freak). I wanted this weekend to be beautiful and perfect, yet still be able to enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I wanted to thank the amazing team of talented people who made our day so effortless and beautiful – thank you all!!
