These days it’s a rarity that large, multigenerational families live close to one another anymore. And while it’s not always easy to coordinate a family vacation for TWENTY people that live all over the United States, the end result is so very special. I was honored to photograph the four generations of Pococks and Wrights during their summer stay on the Isle of Palms. I know that these kiddos will treasure the precious time they were able to spend with great-grandmother Nolie in celebration of her ninetieth birthday, and I am so grateful that I was there to help them capture those memories.
