My poor girls . . . they are hounded by their mamarazzi. They tolerate me and my “you’ll be glad you have these pictures someday!” tirades as I chase them around with my camera. Sometimes they’re into it, sometimes they’re not. But by now they know I won’t quit until I get what I need, and I know that their currency is ice cream. That’s why for their classroom Valentine’s Day cards, I told them they had free rein over what we did, where we went, clothing, poses, etc. It’s clear they’ve been well-trained over the years, since they picked out coordinating, holiday-appropriate attire for themselves 🙂 We hadn’t been to the beach in awhile, so they decided to go down to the boardwalk and dance around a little one afternoon after school. And this is why I love Charleston in the wintertime . . . Happy Valentine’s Day!!
See what I get when I say, “do whatever you want”?! This was her high-fashion pose. Apparently, it’s the cool thing to do.
