I love the patriotism of America in the month of July. It is a celebratory time when folks gather together to celebrate our nation’s inception, but it is also a time of reflection. I feel so grateful to live in this land of opportunity. To be free to think and say what I want. To have the liberty to make choices that are best for me and my family. It’s not until one looks at other cultures and countries, sometimes, that we see how truly fortunate we are. This week, as you are surrounded by red, white and blue, just take a minute to appreciate that you are a part of this wonderful country and the freedom that it gives.
