Rain, rain go away!

You know how they say March “comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb”? Well, this year it certainly seems to be true. The last few days have been crazy windy with thunderstorms and really unpredictable weather – rain, rain go away! It is just a gloomy, wet day out there – big bummer for a Saturday! Really no good for anyone but the ducks. Well, okay, and my girls. It’s amazing what fun they can have with a pair of galoshes and an umbrella. Days like this one just have me longing for the spring flora that is just waiting patiently to burst forth.

These images are from last year’s 365 Project (which I regretfully didn’t complete, but you can find the valiant effort here). I have to give a shout-out to my dear, sweet husband who toils away in the yard to ensure that I have these lovely subjects to photograph – thanks honey!
