{Charleston SC Senior Portraits} – My head is still reeling from all the new tips and techniques that I picked up during my recent senior photography workshop in Las Vegas! Brittney Kluse of Brittney Kluse Photography in Eastern Washington State demonstrated some great lighting tips and posing techniques with this beautiful duo, friends Lorissa and Monique. My greatest takeaway from this portion of our class was to sssslllloooowwww ddddoooowwwwnnnn when shooting. Since I shoot a lot of families with small children, speed has been key to keep up with little rascals who like to play. Well, with Seniors, there is no chasing them down and asking them to sit still. These girls follow directions and are more than happy to strike a pose for the camera – what a difference!
Working with a pair of girls really added some interaction (which is what I LOVE about shooting families) and emotion to the session, and I LOVE the idea of having a “Besties Senior Session” that captures dear friends together.
