Meet Corrie Silvers, party planner extraordinaire!  I am so excited to write this post on Corrie and her business, Teacups & Trucks, because she is one of the most fun, energetic, creative and genuine women I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

Corrie is the owner of Teacups & Trucks, a one-stop hassle-free party planning service in the Charleston area. Corrie began to see that parents were not able to enjoy celebrating their children’s birthday parties because it was stressful and overwhelming.  She saw a niche for planning birthday parties for children – her goal was to alleviate the stress of shopping, organizing, and planning a party so that her clients could sit back, relax and enjoy the special day with their child.  The party planners at Teacups & Trucks do it all!  From unique-themed party table service (including decorations and paper goods), to themed music playing in the background, to an on-site party hostess (who entertains the kiddos with games and activities), Corrie and her staff take care of all the details from set-up to clean-up so that you can be PRESENT and celebrate with your little one.

She has come up with some incredibly fun themes and leaves no detail unattended.  For this circus-themed first birthday party, she created an photobooth setup, an amazing big top table display with everything from animal crackers to popcorn and cotton candy, to sweet customized hats and bunting for the birthday boy:

This Thomas the Train party was a huge hit at this 4 year-old’s birthday.  Even the snacks had cute names like pretzel “tree logs”:

The very elegantly-styled princess theme includes a makeover station (complete with princess gowns), sweet jewelry craft, and a visit from true royalty:

Not only is Corrie a whiz with creating fabulous kid-themed parties, she also has a keen eye for adult events, too! This Lilly Pulitzer-inspired 40th birthday party was a stunning sea of pink and green that blew the birthday girl away:

As if all this doesn’t keep Corrie on her toes, she is also offering a Theme Party Summer Camp!  Parents can host a camp at their home for 10-15 children, and hosts’ children get to attend the camp for FREE.  Summer camp can come to YOU and, as with the birthday parties, Teacups & Trucks takes care of all the set-up and clean up so you can enjoy your summer, too!
