The Gordillo Family: Good Dog!

It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since dear friends Geoff and Valerie moved away from Charleston to Dallas with their family!  I was blessed enough to visit them in Texas this year (and even cross “Texas Bluebonnet Session” off my bucket list), and it’s always fabulous to see them when they have the chance to return to the Lowcountry.  This year they stayed for two weeks, and brought their sweet dog Cooper along for the trip – what a good dog he was!

Pet photography (not including the nauseating stream of Instagram pics of my own lovable Lab) is not my forte, so when a dog I don’t know is thrown into the mix of a family session in a bustling downtown locale, I wasn’t exactly sure how well things would actually go.  Well, what a poser he was!  He sat up, lay down, looked my way, and even smiled for the camera – it was really unbelievable how well-behaved this pup was.  I think he definitely has a future in acting.

Oh, and of course everyone else was fabulous, too 😉
