Boone Hall Plantation is a spot where I frequently take clients for sessions because, quite frankly, it’s gorgeous. There are so many varied backdrops, and every season holds new surprises. When the Smith family arrived, I was kind of bummed to discover that the newly bloomed cotton field was off-limits. As we turned around to find a new spot, I was struck by these amazing Spanish-moss festooned shrubs, which seemed to be dropping their fuschia petals like pink snowflakes. The vibrant colors of the girls’ adorable dresses were a perfect match!
