I have photographed a lot of different kinds of families, but when I heard that there was a set of four year-old twins in this one, this Mount Pleasant family photographer got EXCITED! I hadn’t yet had the chance to work with twins, and four year-olds are SUCH a fun age to shoot! They are inquisitive, totally silly, and usually laugh at all my horrendous jokes (a definite confidence booster). We met at Boone Hall Plantation just before the cotton started to bloom, which led us into a really educational conversation about where clothes come from. There was lots of tree climbing, hugs for mom and dad, kisses for grandma, racing around the garden . . . we had such a blast together. I really noticed the sweet bond between the two kiddos as we hopped from spot to spot around the grounds. There was a lot of whispering to each other, and I have to say it’s not often I’ve seen such closeness between a brother and a sister. It was such a joy to watch them together – what a blessing to have such a sibling!
