Kiawah Island Resort – Family Beach Photography

I was delighted as could be when my dear old friend and sorority sister Andrea contacted me to photograph her family during their beach vacation at Kiawah Island Resort.  Kiawah Island happens to be one of my very favorite staycation spots!  It is serene and beautiful, and it feels like it’s worlds away, when in reality it’s only an hour.  A session there hardly seems like work, and even the drive back and forth through Johns Island under the miles of ancient oaks and Spanish moss seems like a vacation in itself.

Most importantly, it was so wonderful to reconnect with a sweet college friend, to see her darling kiddos, to reminisce about “the good old days,” and to help them all remember their family vacation with fondness.
