We have two daughters, and so the childhood obsession with trucks and heavy equipment has really passed us by . . . but I have to admit that I was over the moon this week when the big orange backhoe arrived in our backyard for our cement pond project. Yahoo, we have a swimming pool on the way!! Now that summer is nearly here and it has FINALLY gotten warm, we are itching to have it completed (I am forgoing the thought of skimming leaves and taking water samples for the promise of cocktails poolside).
