Oh, to be a surfer girl! My oldest daughter had the amazing opportunity to attend surf camp with week with Kai Dilling and his AWESOME crew at Sol Surfers. It was her first time on a board, but by the end of the week she was riding the waves like a little wahine. Each morning we would slather her with sunscreen and send her off on a shuttle out to Folly Beach . . . it was a little difficult for me as a mother to just let my little girl go do something so grown up all by herself, but I am so proud of how well she did! The last day was parent observation/graduation day. Of course it poured buckets, but I was able to get some good pics of all the little groms.
Got my mind on WATER this week – took a walk on the Ravenel Bridge and had some beautiful harbor vistas, and am spending time managing our (seemingly never-ending) pool construction project. We have the shade, we have the lounger, we just need to get it done so we can lounge in the shade NEXT to it 🙂
