Three Wardrobe Tips for Looking Great On-Camera

Today I wanted to share my three favorite wardrobe tips for looking your very best on-camera.

Wardrobe Tip #1: Wear Solid Colors

You want your face to stand out and you don’t want your viewers to be distracted by busy prints, tiny patterns (which typically don’t photography well anyway) or really big logos. Avoid NEON colors!

Wardrobe Tip #2: Wear Clothing that Fits

If you feel great, you’ll look great. You don’t want to have any shirts with buttons gaping open or anything that is too tight. Look in the mirror and do a 360-degree turn all around to make sure all sides look their best!

Wardrobe Tip #3: Don’t Forget to Accessorize

Creating a complete outfit from head to toe, including jewelry, shoes and layers (such as scarves, jackets, blazers, pocket squares, ties, etc.) really takes your outfit to the next level and makes it look like a well thought-out ensemble.

(P. S. Teenage girls – a black rubber band on your wrist is NOT an accessory!)
