Year of Mornings Project Week 26: Around the House

The girls were both in separate summer camps this week, which left me to be the carpooling queen for at least 25 percent of my days.  It didn’t allow much time for personal projects on my list, but there are always interesting things to capture around the house.  It was the original intent of my project to do JUST that, so I’m glad to have been reined in a little and stuck close to home.  This week I will remember playing with Boomer and his newfound favorite object, my littlest losing her fourth tooth (you can’t see in the picture, but it’s missing, I swear!), my attempt a being hip and trendy with mint-colored polish (it caused major distractions as I typed, but the compliments from teen girls throughout the week made it all worthwhile), my frustration with our fencing situation (long story short – don’t ask a man to come up with anything creative), and my trip to Charleston County School of the Arts to admire the work of some of the best and brightest young talents around (this mosaic is made completely of buttons – genius).
